Return & Exchange Policy

At Labor & Leather, we proudly partner with skilled  artisans to bring you handcrafted, small-batch goods. Because each piece is made with care, our policies help us maintain fair pricing and protect the integrity of our mystery reveal games.

Please read the policy in full before placing your order.

ALL SALES ARE FINAL

All purchases are FINAL SALE, including:

  • Regular priced items
  • Sale items
  • Promo code purchases
  • Mystery Reveal products

We do not issue refunds, store credit, or cancellations.

However, we are happy to offer exchanges on eligible non-mystery items and replacements for damaged or defective products. See below for details.


EXCHANGE POLICY (NON-MYSTERY ITEMS)

If you need to exchange an eligible item, you have 10 days from delivery to start the process.

Exchange Eligibility

To qualify for an exchange:

  • Item must be unused
  • In original condition
  • Include all original tags
  • Must be a standard store item (not a mystery reveal)

How to Start an Exchange

Email us at laborandleather@gmail.com with:

  • Full name
  • Order number
  • Item you wish to exchange

We respond within 24–48 hours.

Return Shipping

  • Customer is responsible for all return shipping costs.
  • We recommend using a trackable, insured mailing service.
  • Labor & Leather is not responsible for lost or damaged return packages.

Exchange Denial

We reserve the right to deny an exchange if:

  • Item appears worn
  • Item is damaged
  • The 10-day window has passed
  • Tags or packaging are missing


MYSTERY REVEAL POLICY

Due to the nature of live mystery games, all Mystery Reveal purchases are FINAL SALE.

We DO NOT accept:

  • Returns
  • Exchanges
  • Store credit
  • Preference-based requests (size, color, style)

We DO replace Mystery Reveal items ONLY if:

  • Item is damaged,
  • Broken,
  • Missing components, or
  • Defective upon arrival

You must report defects within 7 days of delivery.

To request a replacement:

Email laborandleather@gmail.com with:

  • Order number
  • Description of the defect
  • Photos/video of the damaged item
  • Photo of item next to the original packaging + order slip

(We follow a system similar to established reveal brands for fairness.)

If the exact item is unavailable, a similar item of equal value will be provided.


DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE ITEMS

For all shop items—including non-mystery items:

We will replace an item that:

  • Arrives damaged
  • Has a craftsmanship defect
  • Breaks under normal use within 30 days

Not considered defects:

  • Natural marks, scars, or color variations in genuine leather
  • Slight imperfections typical of handmade or artisan goods
  • Wear from normal use


ORDER PROCESSING & SHIPPING

Processing Times

Orders ship within 1–3 business days, unless otherwise noted as a pre-order.

Shipping Times

Transit time is typically 3–5 business days depending on the carrier and your location.

Tracking Information

Tracking details are emailed to you once the order is fulfilled.


RETURN SHIPPING INFORMATION

For approved exchanges or replacement returns:

  • Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs
  • Shipping fees are non-refundable
  • We cannot provide prepaid shipping labels at this time

If returning an item valued over $75, we recommend using:

  • A trackable shipping service
  • Shipping insurance

We cannot guarantee receipt of returned packages.
